Summit’s development experience includes asset management capability – including serving as asset manager – and the fulfillment of complex accounting, tax and reporting responsibilities.
Summit currently has operations responsibility for the 205 MW White Creek wind energy facility in Washington State. The project achieved commercial operation in November 2007 and consists of 89 Siemens 2.3 MW wind turbine generators. The project has twenty (20) year energy purchase agreements with four public utilities and two electric cooperatives. Under Summit’s operations management, the White Creek wind project has operated for over five years.
Summit also serves as the Asset Manager of the 100 MW Harvest Wind Project, which commenced commercial operation in December 2009. The project consists of 43 Siemens 2.3 MW wind turbine generators and has 20 year energy purchase agreements with two public utilities and two electric cooperatives. Under Summit’s operations management, the Harvest Wind project has operated for over four years.
Summit also has considerable experience complying with Department of Energy and other grant and incentive-related accounting and reporting requirements.
